Hotel Fox

Yes, that’s right, I’m here to tell you about a Hotel. A really, really cool hotel. Now, I know you’re thinking, “what’s so special about this hotel that you feel the need to write about it?” Well, let me tell you…

Hotel Fox is more than just a hotel. With 61 rooms done by 21 different artists, Hotel Fox is definitely one of the coolest hotels in the world (it’s located in Copenhagen, Denmark). Each room is an original piece of artwork that has been designed, painted and decorated by an artist, making each room entirely different from all the rest. Every single room in Hotel Fox is an individual experience that is nothing like the rest of the hotel.

First off, there are four different room sizes, so when looking at the rooms to potentially reserve them, you have your choice of “X-large, Large, Medium and Small” (but really, it doesn’t matter the size of the room, because it’s all about the experience). Next, each room not only has its own individual design, but it also has a theme that the artist decides on and follows through with. This is what makes each room so cool.

Take room number 121 for example, entitled “Sleep Seasons” which was inspired by the desire to hibernate. Done by an artist named Rinzen from Australia, it has a different season on each wall, with different animals hibernating, and right in the middle of this “medium” sized room is a tent with a bed under it. It’s like camping in the wilderness, amongst animals, but in the safe comfort of a hotel room.

Along with visually stunning rooms comes impeccable services. At Hotel Fox, if you find yourself in need of something to do, you can rent a bike from the hotel and ride around Copenhagen, or you can borrow an iPod to listen to music while you are there. There is a restaurant, and lounge with televisions and pretty much anything else you could ask for at a hotel.

So, with fun, interesting, and artsy rooms, award-winning amenities and a beautiful location, Hotel Fox is definitely worth attempting to visiting, and while you’re there, try to see each and every one of the rooms. Visit the site here to get a look at all of them!
