Juice: What’s on the Outside is on the Inside

The exquisite juice box designs, made by reputable Japanese industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa, are just some of the refreshing choices in the collection. The eye catching fruit box design line, which includes among several, a banana, kiwi and strawberry package is aimed at representing the aesthetic taste of what’s on the outside is on the inside. As Fukasawa accounts, “I imagined that if the surface of the package imitated the colour and texture of the fruit skin, then the object would reproduce the feeling of the real skin.”

Although the visionary design concept has been been grazing various design blogs for some length of time for it’s originality, you most likely have not seen the box in your local Albertsons grocery store. Does the package make the juice drink taste better? Probably not, but it has a captivating aura that certainly would attract a second glance on any shelf, even if the price was quite a bit over your classic Capri Sun.
